For those of you that struggle to get information out of your pfSense box, I found someone that has figured it out. Now you can monitor & automate your pfSense box like a PRO!
Mr. Travis G. Hansen has graciously allowed me to let everyone know about this fantastic tool he has built. It monitors the ARP tables of your pfSense Box and provides Home and Away Device Tracker Service, Sensors for 11 (currently, growing all the time) data points that your box provides, Four switches to change behavior in the box, and 3 Binary_Sensors.
All you do is provide the needed login information, decide if you want Device Tracker or not, set some timing for that functionality, then select which devices you want to monitor.
This all makes it possible to create Scripts and Automations that trigger off your router status and to control some aspects of your router thru Scripts and Automations.
