We are at the cottage for some fall maintenance and winterizing. For this video we will be installing some winterizing window shrinky film (WWSF). The installation point is the window with the air leaky AC unit in it.
If you haven’t done this before, it’s pretty easy. I followed the directions on the package and it pretty much went well, until the corner popped off the next day. Don’t over-shrink your film, it WILL pull the tape off…
Just a little handy warning for you all.
Also leave extra on the start side and cut the other side an inch extra on both sides. You can always cut it off later. Or if it pops off later, you can re-tape without having to start over..
