In this video I Climb the roof of our cottage and try to apply my gutter leak drip edge fix
I tried to install the new drip edge a year ago, but I did so without fastening them down. They seemed to be in rather rather solid, but alas I believe the ice pushed them out and I found them laying on the lawn when we came back in spring. This time they are fastened down with screws, so I’m thinking it’s now fixed.
Unfortunately I had only 20 feet of drip edge that was usable so I need about 80 more feet to finish, but that will have to wait for another time.
I show what the problem is and how it looks after it’s fixed. Pouring water on the roof is kind of fun, it seems. There are a couple of videos below to further explain the problem if you would like to do further research.
